Another nomination to the Sunshine Blogger Award! Can you believe it? Well, this time I have been nominated by the lovely Nika from Survival, Recovery through Creative Writing, Poetry, Rhymes, and Songs! I would like to thank Nika for nominating me. I am very grateful that she chose my blog.
As usual, let me start with the rules.
- Thank the blogger who nominated you in a blog post and make a link back to their blog.
- Answer the 11 questions sent to you by the person who nominated you.
- Nominate up to 11 new blogs to receive the award, and then write them 11 new questions.
- List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or your blog.
And then my answers to the questions.
What makes you smile? Every little thing makes me smile: the sunshine, a cup of coffee in the morning, my crazy dog and knowing that I am free from narcissistic abuse.
Why do you blog? I started blogging because I had a lot of pain inside of me that needed to get out. Blogging is cathartic for me. It allows me to express my feelings without the fear of upsetting someone close to me.
I’ve talked about Planet of the Apes and Planet of the Pugs. What Planet would you like to live on? Apes or pugs, it doesn’t matter much. I’m quite happy on this planet.
If you could only ever read 3 books, what would they be? I would probably choose the Bible, the Qur’an and the Mahabharata. Three books that have had a big impact on society.
What was your best ever holiday? It’s hard to say. I have had many fantastic holidays. When I was a child we used to go on holiday quite a lot in our small caravan and we loved it! Kyoto in 2007, Bangkok in 2008 and Cape Cod in 2009 were all very good holidays. My most recent holidays in Cyprus and France were also fantastic. I have never had a bad holiday except the one I spend with my narcissistic ex-boyfriend in 2016 which led to me having a nervous breakdown. Good weather, good food and good company and I’m happy!
Which cartoon character are you most like? That’s a tough one. I hesitate between Tintin for his inquisitiveness or Lucky Luke for his sense of justice.
If you could introduce one thing worldwide, what would it be? Where do I start? Peace, love, French food, books, dogs. I don’t know. There are too many things to choose from and as you may have noticed, I find it hard to make decisions!
If magic existed, which spell would you try first? The spell that would eradicate Narcissistic Abuse and any other kind of abuse from this planet.
What’s your secret talent? It’s so secret that I don’t even know myself! Maybe one day I will discover it…
What would your perfect day look like? Any day without a narcissist is a perfect day.
What’s the one thing you would like to change in your life? I am changing things in my life constantly. Every day, I make a new change. This year 2018 has been particularly full of changes. I decided to go No Contact with my ex and this was a major change. I also got a permanent contract at work which was another big change as it gives me financial security. And finally, I decided to study to be a life coach. Life changes all the time. I don’t know what’s around the corner, but I hope it’s something good because I have had my share of bad moments these past few years.
And finally, my nominations. (Because I am quite the indecisive person, I usually nominate the last ten bloggers that I have started following as it makes it easier. So here they are.)
And my questions. (My last set of questions were deemed a bit tough, so I have chosen the questions I answered on my last nomination.)
- What is something popular that annoys you?
- What did you do on your last holiday?
- What’s your favourite number and why?
- What do you bring with you wherever you go?
- What smell brings back great memories?
- What are you best at?
- What TV series are you watching these days?
- What book are you currently reading?
- What was your first smart phone?
- Do you prefer travelling around or with a group?
- How do you plan to make the world a better place?
I hope my nominees will accept the award an enjoy answering the questions.
Let it shine!
