Another week, another award! It seems awards are like buses; you wait a long time for one and then two turn up at the same time. The awesome blogger award is a peer appreciation award presented to “absolutely wonderful writers all across the blogging world who have beautiful blogs, are kind and lovely, and always find a way to add happiness and laughter to the lives of their readers.” So, I would like to thank Stuart from Something to Stu Over for nominating me.
Let’s get started!
First the rules:
Thank the person who nominated you.
Include the reason for the award.
Include the award banner in your post.
Tag it under #awesome blogger award.
Answer the questions you were given.
Nominate at least five other awesome bloggers.
Then the questions:
Which book are you currently reading? I am currently reading U is for Undertow by Sue Grafton. I have already read the Alphabet Series twice, so this is my third time.
What is your most treasured item? I am not materialistic at all, so I don’t really have a treasured item. Everything is replaceable.
What is your favourite classic TV show? I love watching Magnum PI. I particularly like the strong sense of loyalty between the main characters
What is your favourite cereal? I don’t really eat cereals that much. Being French I am more of a croissant or pain au chocolat kind of person.
What is your favourite animal? My lovely cocker spaniel Monty. In the aftermath of Narcissistic Abuse, he was always there to comfort me. He could sense my distress and curled up next to me.
What is your dream vacation spot? I like the South of France, but I am open to any destination where the sun shines, people are welcoming, and the food is good.
What is your one pet peeves? People walking slowly in front of me. It drives me crazy!
What is your favourite genre of music? I like any kind of music except techno, but I would say rock is definitely my favourite
Why do you feel we are afraid to talk about the elephant in the room?I think it is because people don’t like confrontation.
The last question is a serious one. If you had to prove the reason for your faith to a non-believer in God, what would you say? I would say: “I do not have to prove anything to you.”
And finally, my five nominees:
As I always do when nominating people for an award, I have chosen the latest bloggers I have started to follow. So, my nominees are:
I hope that my nominees will answer the questions, but it is entirely up to them!
In my next post, I will tell you all about the new developments in my healing journey. Until then, have a great week, be true to yourself and don’t let anyone bring you down.
